Ink Jet Set is a very simple product to use in order to transfer photographs/scans/drawing and lettering to fabric
Here are the basics:
1. Pour the INK JET SET into a suitable container.Soak the fabric in the liquid, making sure that it is completely saturated.
If the fabric is not saturated you will find that the print will not“take” on those unsaturated pieces.
2. Squeeze out all the excess liquid from the fabric and pour into separate storage container. You do not know what bugs are on your fabric and you don't want to contaminate the remaining Ink Jet Set.
3. Drip dry your fabric and iron out all the wrinkles. DO NOT USE STEAM!
4. Iron onto a piece of freezer paper and rotary cut the edges so that there are no threads that might catch in the printer.
5. Set up your design/photo/lable on your computer and print out as you would any document. It is worth it to do a test print first on a piece of paper as this is a WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) action.
6. Rest the printed fabric for 24 hours- preferably longer- to make sure its completely dry.
7.Fill a container with cold water and swish the fabric through the water to rinse Do this at least three times to get rid of the chemical.
8. Dry and press- and sew into position.
